Program Overview

IN PERSON

The Graduate Certificate in Development, Test & Evaluation, Verification & Validation of Autonomous Systems (DTEVV) equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate the safety, performance, and readiness of autonomous and AI-enabled systems. Across four courses and 12 credits, students engage with topics including DTEVV fundamentals, autonomy and AI, perception evaluation, computer vision, and human-robotics teaming. The curriculum blends theory and application, giving students practical insight into testing processes, lifecycle risk assessment, and the technical challenges of evaluating complex autonomous systems.

Built with working professionals in mind, the program positions graduates to contribute to the future of uncrewed systems by bringing rigor, analytical skills, and technical judgment to the evaluation of autonomous systems.
