Graduate Programs in Applied Economics

Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Economic Analysis, Online (Z174) has a 15-credit, 5-course curriculum designed to enhance quantitative and analytical skills and deepen the understanding of economic analysis. The program focuses on the role of econometric analysis in policy, with a particular focus on empirical skills, particularly data collection, manipulation, and management.

• The GC-Economic Analysis, Online (Z174) meets 100% online.
• Uses the term academic calendar with classes held each 12-week term: I (fall), II (winter), III (spring), IV (summer).
• The online format can be completed in nine months of continuous enrollment. Students enroll in five 3-credit courses (15 credits) over the course of three 12-week terms. See Designation of Full-time/Part-time Status.
• Students admitted into the online format will be allowed to take some in-person courses/sections at the D.C. location.
