Program Overview
The EdTerps Learning Academy’s PK-12 Education Programs support certified classroom teachers, conditionally hired teachers, supporting services personnel, and paraeducators to advance their careers while working full-time in school settings. Through flexible and part-time learning options that feature in-person, online, and blended instruction, our PK-12 Education programs are designed to advance the pedagogical content knowledge and careers of working PK-12 educators and instructional leads in Elementary Education, Math, STEM, TESOL, Dual-Language Education, Human Development, and more.
PK-12 Education Programs culminate in graduate degrees from the University of Maryland’s College of Education, including M.Ed. and Graduate Certificates, as well as eligibility for certain Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certifications or endorsements (MSDE Initial Teacher Certification in Elementary Grades 1-6 and MSDE ESOL Endorsement).
