Mentoring and advising is an essential part of the program. All new and returning students should contact Dr. Eric Adler at eadler@umd.edu to schedule an advising appointment before registering for courses.
The Post-Baccalaureate Program in Latin and Greek offers advanced course work in the Latin and/or Greek language and literature that places ancient literary texts in the broader context of ancient Greek and Roman culture and civilization.
- Courses are taught by University of Maryland (UMD) faculty and professionals in the field.
- Classes meet in-person on weekdays, typically between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the UMD College Park campus.
- The program follows the semester academic calendar with classes held in the spring and fall semesters (16 weeks each).
