Tuition and Fee Information

Students enroll in a 12-, 6-, or 3-credit language program and are assessed tuition at the University-approved per-credit program rate. This rate is based on the standard in-state undergraduate rate and is assessed to all students.

  • 12-credit program: Students register for two 6-credit courses. 9 weeks.
  • 6-credit program: Students register for one 6-credit course. 4.5 weeks.
  • 3-credit program: Students register for one 3-credit course. 10 days.

In addition, students are assessed a one-time summer campus services fee and a program fee based on registered credit level.

SLI courses follow the University of Maryland's plus/minus grading system. There is no option to take SLI courses online or with pass-fail or audit grading.
