Many public school districts offer dual enrollment or early college programs that provide financial assistance. Some school districts limit enrollment to local community colleges while others permit enrollment at colleges/universities. School districts may also limit enrollment to a specific class level (juniors or seniors) and may have deadlines that differ from those of Terp Young Scholars.
Interested students should contact their school’s guidance office for such details. Students should not submit an application for Terp Young Scholars until they have contacted the appropriate school district regarding eligibility. If admitted, program payment arrangements are the responsibility of the student.
