James Clark School of Engineering is a national leader in entrepreneurship education and venture creation.  As the University of Maryland’s comprehensive entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, Mtech is uniquely positioned to offer programs for students to acquire the knowledge, competencies, and relationships to solve today’s and tomorrow’s innovation challenges.

Mtech educates the next generation of technology entrepreneurs, creates successful technology ventures, and connects Maryland companies with university resources to help them succeed. Mtech's programs arm top students with the knowledge of how to successfully launch companies. They guide aspiring and existing entrepreneurs through the entire lifecycle of launching and maintaining technology-based ventures, and they support technology product development partnerships in both fledgling and mature ventures.

Mtech offers the following 100% online graduate programs that lead to a Master of Professional Studies. Designed for working professionals, students can earn a University of Maryland degree while continuing to work full-time with minimal disruption to personal and professional life.
