Graduate Certificate in Economic Analysis, Online Format


Graduate Programs in Applied Economics is offered through the Department of Economics in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Economic Analysis, Online Format (Z174) has a 15-credit, 5-course curriculum designed to enhance quantitative and analytical skills and deepen the understanding of economic analysis. The program focuses on the role of econometric analysis in policy with particular focus on empirical skills, particularly data collection, manipulation, and management.

Considerations

  • The GC-Economic Analysis, Online format (Z174) meets 100% online.
  • Uses the term academic calendar with classes held each 12-week term: I (fall), II (winter), III (spring), IV (summer).
  • The online format can be completed in nine months of continuous enrollment. Students enroll in five 3-credit courses (15 credits) over the course of three 12-week terms. See Designation of Full-time/Part-time Status.
  • Students admitted into the online format may only enroll in courses/sections offered in the online format.
