Tuition and Fees
Students who register for a course in this program are assessed tuition and, if applicable, mandatory fees. The WDC Format uses the term academic calendar. The UMCP Format uses the semester academic calendar.
Program Tuition
Tuition is assessed at a special per course rate that does not differentiate between Maryland residents and non-residents. Applies to course sections PCE* or PR**. The charts also provide an estimated cost for each program.

Mandatory fees are assessed according to location, delivery type, and semester or term.
- Campus Fees, Graduate: Assessed based on the total number of registered credits each fall or spring semester/term for any course held on campus. For a breakdown of fees, see Student Financial Services - Tuition and Fees.
- Winter Distance Learning Fee: Flat rate charged for any course registration that does not require students to come to campus (e.g., internships, courses offered completely online). Supports university resources and registration services.
- Summer Distance Learning Fee: Flat rate charged for any course registration that does not require students to come to campus (e.g., internships, courses offered completely online). Supports university resources and registration services.

- Determination of residency status is made according to the University System of Maryland Policy for Student Classification for Admission and Tuition Purposes.
- Although changes in tuition, fees, and other charges ordinarily are announced in advance, the University reserves the right to make changes when deemed necessary.
